We design and build pergolas to suit your home's character — Queenslander-style with hardwood posts and decorative brackets, modern flat-roof with Colorbond and clean lines, gabled outdoor rooms for entertaining, or freestanding cabanas around the pool. The right design adds value as well as shade.
Polycarbonate (clear or tinted) lets in light while blocking UV. Colorbond is durable and rain-quiet with insulation. Timber slat or batten roofs filter sun beautifully but offer no rain cover. Retractable louvre roofs (Vergola, Stratco Sunroof) give the best of both — adjustable shade and rain protection.
Patios and pergolas attached to the house generally need Building Approval through a private certifier in Queensland. Freestanding structures over 10m² and certain heights also require approval. We coordinate the certifier, engineer and council paperwork as part of the build.
